I was born in Detroit Michigan, at the age of 11 moved to the subs. of detroit to what is now Harper Woods, was called
Gratiot Twp. when we moved there. I joined the Navy after high school were I was a radarman,and stationed on a destroyer
out of norfolk Va. that was in a experminital task group that did anti submarine warfare things.
After the Navy I worked for a company that made roller bearings for a couple of years until they closed shop and moved
to Tenn. I then got a job working for a company that made dies for drop forged hammers,worked there for 4yrs. from there
joined the police dept. and stayed for 26yrs 3months and retired.
After retireing we started to camp more,still with a tent, bought the camper in 1999, just wanted to get off the ground,both
Santina and myself enjoy camping,and hope to do more now that we have a pop up camper.
We have 2 dogs that go camping with us.
This year 2004 we traded in the pop up for a hybrid a KZ Coyote C20 which should extend our camping season.
